Charlotte Oliver, English qualified Solicitor and Avvocato, is hosting an immersive coaching retreat set in the Umbrian countryside during the olive harvest in October 2027.
The retreat is organized in collaboration with Faery Snail Tours (www.faerysnails.com), and is designed for senior legal professionals from the UK, US, Canada, Italy and Australia, drawn from the international Oliver & Partners law firm network.
Coaching is a disciplined, reflective practice which can help lawyers to strengthen the skills and mindset needed to adapt to change and build stronger relationships in their careers, to become better leaders, communicators and problem-solvers.
The retreat will include:
- Daily group coaching workshops
- Luxury retreat venue in historic country house with spa and on-site dining
- Olive picking and pressing experience (weather permitting)

The ancient Italian tradition of producing olive oil is an annual ritual in Italy: winter pruning of the tree to shape growth and strengthen resilience, flowering in the spring, sunlight throughout the summer for nourishment and autumn harvesting and finally pressing of the olives. The professional growth of a lawyer follows a similar rhythm where self-care, reflection and learning provide the nourishment which leads to quality work and lasting value.
