New draft legislation making its way through the Italian Parliament, nicknamed “Disegno di legge Codice Rosso”  modifies the existing provisions of the codice penale. The new law provides for new training for police and carabinieri and fast-tracking of police reports by victims of domestic violence, which will need to be submitted immediately to the prosecutor’s office.
